Camels and Llamas

There are many animals in the earth. All of them have many properties. For example there is which has hair, beak, claws or tusks. In this essay, I am going to write about similarities and differences between camels and llamas.

There are many several important similarities between camels and llamas. The first similarity is that they belong to the same class of animals, both being hoofed, four-legged ruminants. Another similarity is that they have similar personalities. Both can be bad-tempered – camels bite when they are angry and llamas spit. Yet another similarity is that both are adapted to hot climates. The bodies of both animals retain water well and they sweat very little in the heat.

Although there are some similarities between camels and llamas, there are also some distinct differences. The first difference is that Whereas camels are large and have one or two humps on their back, llamas are small and have no humps. Another difference is that the former live in the deserts of North Africa, Arabia, and Mongolia but the latter live in South America. Yet another difference is that camels are used for boasting among the Arabs, but llamas are not

Overall, the differences outweigh the similarities. In my opinion I prefer camels more than llamas, because I didn’t see or use llamas in real.

The UAE today and the UAE 30 years ago

Everything in this planet improves: people, animals, trees, bacteria and microbes and countries. The UAE was improved for three decades. The UAE today isn’t like the UAE before 30 years. In this essay, I am going to write about similarities and differences between the UAE now and the UAE 30 years ago.

There are many several important similarities between the UAE now and the UAE 30 years ago. The first similarity is that people interest on age-old customs such as camel-racing and traditional wedding celebrations. Another similarity is that although Emiratis occasionally wear western garb, men usually still wear the Kandorh and women the Abaya. Yet another similarity is that the religion is still the same: people are devoted to Islam.

Although there are some similarities between the UAE now and the UAE 30 years ago, there are also some distinct differences. The first difference is that the average Emirati did not have a car or two or a huge house. Now, however, this is commonplace. Another difference is that whereas three decades ago the only teaching was of the holy Quran, now teaching from kindergarten up through university is prevalent. Yet another difference is that medical facilities differ. In the past, people relied on traditional medicine such as herbal remedies but nowadays there are many modern public and private hospitals.

Overall, the differences outweigh the similarities. However, if it is past or today, the UAE will stay the UAE. It is represent the Civilization, Culture and History.
