Camels and Llamas

There are many animals in the earth. All of them have many properties. For example there is which has hair, beak, claws or tusks. In this essay, I am going to write about similarities and differences between camels and llamas.

There are many several important similarities between camels and llamas. The first similarity is that they belong to the same class of animals, both being hoofed, four-legged ruminants. Another similarity is that they have similar personalities. Both can be bad-tempered – camels bite when they are angry and llamas spit. Yet another similarity is that both are adapted to hot climates. The bodies of both animals retain water well and they sweat very little in the heat.

Although there are some similarities between camels and llamas, there are also some distinct differences. The first difference is that Whereas camels are large and have one or two humps on their back, llamas are small and have no humps. Another difference is that the former live in the deserts of North Africa, Arabia, and Mongolia but the latter live in South America. Yet another difference is that camels are used for boasting among the Arabs, but llamas are not

Overall, the differences outweigh the similarities. In my opinion I prefer camels more than llamas, because I didn’t see or use llamas in real.

The UAE today and the UAE 30 years ago

Everything in this planet improves: people, animals, trees, bacteria and microbes and countries. The UAE was improved for three decades. The UAE today isn’t like the UAE before 30 years. In this essay, I am going to write about similarities and differences between the UAE now and the UAE 30 years ago.

There are many several important similarities between the UAE now and the UAE 30 years ago. The first similarity is that people interest on age-old customs such as camel-racing and traditional wedding celebrations. Another similarity is that although Emiratis occasionally wear western garb, men usually still wear the Kandorh and women the Abaya. Yet another similarity is that the religion is still the same: people are devoted to Islam.

Although there are some similarities between the UAE now and the UAE 30 years ago, there are also some distinct differences. The first difference is that the average Emirati did not have a car or two or a huge house. Now, however, this is commonplace. Another difference is that whereas three decades ago the only teaching was of the holy Quran, now teaching from kindergarten up through university is prevalent. Yet another difference is that medical facilities differ. In the past, people relied on traditional medicine such as herbal remedies but nowadays there are many modern public and private hospitals.

Overall, the differences outweigh the similarities. However, if it is past or today, the UAE will stay the UAE. It is represent the Civilization, Culture and History.

Making cups

If you want to drink coffee, you will drink it by a cup, and you get it from shops, but how cups are made? I will write the steps that show how they are made.

First, dry clay powder is placed in container. Then, water is added and mix them together. After that, excess water is removed from the container. Second, the mixture is shaped into flat shapes. After that, the mixture is pressed into cup moulds, and handles are added to the cups. Third, the mixture is dried in kiln. Then, rough edges smoothed off. After that, the cups are decorated. Fourth, imperfect cups are checked, and then imperfect cups are rejected. Fifth, the pack good cups are chosen, and they are dispatched to shops.

Those are the steps to make cups. They are very easy theoretically, but practical you need to experience, and how you get the experience. You can gain it by doing.

How is ice-cream made?

Everybody in this world loves ice-cream, and the severity of the love for ice-cream many families make ice-cream in their homes. Now I will write the steps how an ice-cream factory makes ice-cream.

First the ingredients are weighed out and mixed together. Then the mix is pasteurized. This means it is heated to a high temperature to kill off any harmful bacteria. The mix is also homogenized. This means breaking down the fat globules in the milk or cream to make them smaller. Now the ice-cream will be smoother, will whip better and won't melt as easily. The mix is then left for at least four hours, usually overnight, to let the fat cool and form into crystals. Any flavors, fruit purees, or colors are added at this point. The mix is then pumped through a special barrel freezer which freezes some of the water in the ice-cream and whips air into it at the same time. Up to half the volume of ice-cream is air. Without it, the ice-cream would be like a frozen ice cube. Any fruits, nuts, sweets or biscuit bits are added to the semi-frozen mixture at this point. The ice cream is then packaged and put into a blast freezer at -30° to -40°C where more of the water in the ice-cream is frozen to make it harder.

These are the steps how an ice-cream is made by an ice-cream factory. And if you want to make ice-cream, it will better to buy it from grocery.

hajj

Islam in a simple meaning is five Pillars, and the fifth pillar is Hajj. Hajj combines the other pillars, because when Muslims go to Hajj, they said during Hajj that there is no god except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and they pray, give charity and fast.
Muslims in Hajj must wear one clothe, it’s called Ihram, that’s for men, but for women they can wear anything, but there are some rules. The clothes must cover all the body of the woman except the face and hands, and the meaning for that is all Muslims are equals the rich and the poor, young and old and man and woman. Muslims in Hajj must go around Kaaba seven times, and same thing for Safa and Marwa, and standing on Arafa mountain. These three steps are the main steps in Hajj, and there are many steps such as sleeping in Mina and go to Muzdalifa and throwing the small stones.
That’s Hajj in simple explanation, but if I want to write everything about it, I will write maybe big book.

In last Ramadan there were many stories happened during it, so I will write a story happened in last Ramadan between my father and me about our work.
Before few months my father traveled to another country, and he told to my brother and me to control his work which includes heavy equipment such as dredgers and trucks until he comes back. We started the work knowing that I do not know how the work is, so I depended on my brother to teach me how I work, but he didn’t teach me everything I needed to do what I should do, so the days passed, and when my father returned my brother traveled to Egypt to seek treatment. After that, I knew nobody stayed in the face of the gun except me. I asked myself what should I do, I don’t know what I will tell my father about his, after that I knew it there was be a big problem, because I didn’t know anything about the work. After 2 days my father called me to come to his room to see what happened until he wasn’t here, so I came and we started, but after 30 minutes I surprised because everything my brother did it, it was wrong, and no one here except me, so I knew I was in big problem and no one responsible except me, so I locked to my father’s face, and his face started to change, and he started scold me, and I remained silent. Suddenly we heard the call to pray, in myself I said “the time for pray come”, and my father in a moment he calmed down after that with a nice smile he said “son go to the mosque and pray and don’t care everything will be OK”. When I heard that I felt so happy and pleasure and I went to pray.

Hamza Naser Ahmed ID: h00137326

Assessment criteria for portfolio depend on three steps which are Appearance, Organization and content. If these steps are perfect, you will get A(+/-) certainly, and if they are bad, you will fail or you will get bad grades. In this essay, I will write about the reasons that make you fail in assessment criteria for portfolio.
There are many reasons make you fail in assessment criteria for portfolio, and I will write some reasons. The first reason is that, non-typing your ID, name and the contents of the binder on the spine or front cover of the binder. The second justification is that, without contents page to help the user, that’s make your binder is very complex and very hard to understand it, so be sure your binder has contents page. The last reason in my essay is that, the contents don’t show evidence of care or order and there are important materials are missing that make your binder like a garbage, so you should put all important materials without any missing and in order.
Finally, from what I had written, you can see many reasons that make your binder fail in assessment criteria for portfolio, and I wrote three reasons of many reasons, and if you want your binder pass, you must do the opposite. ….222 words
